How to Keep Found Love

To ascertain your heart, ask yourself if you definitely want to be with this person and why. For instance, "I am in love with James because he is very sensitive to me as a woman and does not dismiss my opinions as worthless like my ex. I will definitely want to see him again and the relationship to go further."   Armed with this conviction, use what you know about your personality, behaviour, character, and experience to figure out the compatibilities between the two of you. In other words, what do you notice about this person that registers with you? Nurture those compatibilities and highlight them to him/her so that they become the bonding tools for the two of you. It is like working from known to unknown.   Subsequently you will become aware of the differences between both of you and learn how to accommodate each other’s idiosyncrasies as these differences become clear.   As you carry on, effectively communicate the genuine feeling of love and appreciation to this person and watch how he/she responds to it. Note at this point that gold diggers may well be pretending to you. The gold they are digging for may differ according to the person’s needs. Put checks in place and thoroughly ensure that you have not fallen for a gold digger.   5. Previous hurtful love experience and insecurity may make the person appear disinterested or overly cautious. Allow the person to voice their concern so that the two of you can sort through it and bury the ghost from the past. If you do not do this, the new relationship will either exist under the ghost of the past or be killed by it. So root it out.   To fall in love is to decide to let your emotional barriers down so that you can let another person in. It is a conscious decision that is controlled by two reasons namely:   v      The real reason for falling in love usually subconscious   v      The make-believe reason that sounds good to you e.g. “If I marry a doctor, my family and friends will have respect for me.”   What is your reason? This kind of love is usually romantic therefore you need to keep this person romantically interested in you. The clue is reminding yourselves of what attracted to you to each other. In the next four weeks, I will be looking at domestic violence with some of my guests on my show. So please tune in and watch tonight on Passion Tv channel 169 from 7-8pm. Tell others about the show. So many men and women are suffering behind closed doors. Of these people 1 in 4 are women and 1 in 6 are men. There is help available if you are enduring violence at home for religious or cultural reasons. Dmomestic violence is wrong and against the law so do not put up with it. Both the abuser and the abused can get help. Abuse is devastating and should not be condoned in any relationship.

Things that are not in the Bible but Hinder your Relationship with God

For the past four weeks I have been examining some of the bondage teachings that people have had to bear in the church. Most of you were thrilled about hearing the truth on Tv while some of you were afraid it may give liberty to young believers and those wanting to sin anyway.



When David commited adultery, God did not hide it. He wrote it down for every generation of his people to read it in the bible. Relationship with God must be pursued whole heartedlyand not with fear. We may chose to sin or not to sin. Every person must make that choice. However, the freedom we have in Christ must not be minimised for any reason.



Therefore, continue to be free and enjoy loving God. Build an intimate relationship with him without fear of failure. He already knows that you will fail and yet He accepts you for who you are.
